We are delighted to announce a Free Expert Advice on Nutrition and Diet session with nutrition scientist Dr Nina Bailey.

Dr Bailey will be happy to answer your questions on health and nutrition-related issues between 3pm and 4.30pm on 16th December 2010.

We all know that proper nutrition is an important factor, whether you’re a vegetarian or a meat lover, whether you’re 5 years old or 75, and whether you’re a man or a woman. Getting the proper nutritional balance for your body can make a key difference in your overall health. Sometimes we can’t find expert answers to questions we have.

Many people use dietary supplements to enhance their overall health and wellness. Our nutrition expert has dealt with a variety of questions regarding specific health supplements containing omega fatty acids with a view to improving certain conditions.

Dr Nina Bailey has been actively involved in promoting awareness of the role of the diet in maintaining good health. She trained in biomedical science before studying for a doctorate in cell biology. Following this she turned to industry, putting into practice her extensive science background, researching and developing nutritional supplements, and implementing educational training workshops both for professional practitioners and the public.

Nina is passionate in educating people about the role of nutrition in health and disease. Her efforts are concentrated within the role of dietary health and nutritional intervention in disease, with particular emphasis being placed upon the role of essential fatty acids in conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes and depression. She regularly holds training workshops with the public and speaks on a variety of topics including digestive health, depression, diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome, children’s disorders, etc.

She is able to provide you with accurate, up-to-date information on those specific areas of health.
