Melanie Jones set up her nutritional therapy business ‘Spectrum Nutrition’ after obtaining her diploma in Nutritional Therapy from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in Manchester. She is currently half way through the certification programme with the Institute for Functional Medicine in the USA. The prevalence of complex, chronic diseases is escalating globally, from heart disease and diabetes to irritable bowel syndrome, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, mental illness, rheumatoid arthritis, and other autoimmune disorders. Melanie believes that chronic diseases are diet and lifestyle related diseases and require dietary and lifestyle solutions.
